Mr Sanjay Singh


Doctor Sanjay SinghMr Singh moved to the Eurobodalla Shire from the UK in 2003.  He brings with him vast experience, spread over four (4) continents in both developed and developing countries. He holds a Masters in Surgery and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK and Australia. He holds full practising and licence registration with the General Medical Council in the UK and also Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and is actively involved with clinical governance activities in the region.  Mr Singh is also a second line assessor for the Collaborating Hospitals’ Audit of Surgical Mortality program.

His field of practice includes, but is not limited to endoscopy and he has carried out approximately 35,000 procedures. He also performs a wide range of other general surgical procedures and also laparoscopy, minor orthopaedic and plastic surgery procedures. Mr Singh has an ongoing commitment teaching medical students and mentoring surgical registrars on rotation from Canberra. He participates in out of hours on call and also continues to provide specialist surgical services to both the Batemans Bay and the Moruya District Hospitals.

Mr Singh has accreditation in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy) from the Conjoint Committee.  This Committee comprises representatives from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Gastroenterological Society of Australia.
