Mogo Day Surgery

The philosophy behind the Mogo Day Surgery is to provide an exemplary standard of care whilst ensuring that each & every patient experiences minimum discomfort in a safe & caring environment.

After the Procedure

You will be escorted into the recovery room by the theatre staff and the anaesthetist and handed over to the recovery Nurse.

Once awake you will be transferred to a recliner where you will be offered tea / coffee / juice and a snack will be provided.

The Surgeon will visit recovery to talk to you following the procedure and inform you of the results.  You might not remember, as this frequently happens following sedation / anaesthesia.

After a period of time in recovery, the recovery Nurse will contact your pickup when you are ready to go home.

Post operative instructions will be given and explained upon your departure

If you experience any difficulty after arriving at home please do not hesitate to contact us on the numbers provided to you on the discharge information.  Should you have difficulties out of hours, contact your nearest Accident and Emergency Department.
