Mogo Day Surgery

The philosophy behind the Mogo Day Surgery is to provide an exemplary standard of care whilst ensuring that each & every patient experiences minimum discomfort in a safe & caring environment.

Billing Information

Every patient will be informed prior to the procedure the fee that will be charged for the procedure.  The amount will be fully discussed with the patient, either in person at the Day Surgery or by telephone.

The patients, who have eligible private health insurance or have an eligible Veterans card, will not incur any out of pocket expenses.  Mogo Day Surgery participates in a “no gap” scheme.  Private health funds will be billed on the patients behalf.  Some patients who have different levels of private health cover may have an excess on their policy, as such may incur part of the fee.  Patients are encouraged to check the level of cover and any excess with the health fund.  They can also discuss this with the staff at the Mogo Day Surgery who would be more than happy to check their eligibility and explain the charges.

Workcover patients are advised that they provide the Day Surgery staff with all of the necessary details required by Workcover, at least two (2) weeks prior to the procedure so that an approval can be obtained under your current Workcover Claim.

The Mogo Day Surgery accepts cash, eftpos, credit cards (Visa / Mastercard) and bank cheques  for any out of pocket expenses.  Personal cheques will only be accepted if paid and cleared two weeks prior to the procedure.
